Alprene Quick Couplers
Quick Coupling Valves have an internal valve that is normally closed so that water does not leak out. To activate the valve, lift up the cap and insert a specialised Key to suit. On the top of the key you can insert a sprinkler or a hose.
A top alternative to having taps with stand pipes around your garden or park. When not in use close the lid and you can drive your lawn mower over the top of them.
The QCV is designed to be installed in the ground so that the poly cap is just below the Mower level. The QCV is attached to a burried water supply line via the BSP male threaded inlet. The QCV has an internal valve that is normally closed so that water does not leak out. To activate the valve, lift up the flipcap and insert the a QCV KEY. On the top of the key you can have a sprinkler, a hose outlet or any other fitting as the key has a male BSP outlet. When the key is inserted, the internal valve is automatically opened and the water flows out through the key.
