Suitable for both domestic and industrial applications, this bronze bad boy comes with a 3 speed setting for the perfect implementation. Appropriate applications include hot water circulating for hot water systems, and cold water circulating for air-conditioning and cooling systems, withstanding a maximum liquid temperature of 110oC and maximum ambient temperature of 40oC.
How does a circulating pump work? Without circulation pumps, when faucets are closed the hot water will remain within the pipe, eventually cooling down. When you use the faucet again, the hot water that’s cooled down needs to be pushed through the plumbing system, meaning your water flow isn’t hot again until it’s been replaced by hot water from the water heater. Over the course of a year, this equals thousands of litres of wasted water! Circulation pumps eliminate this wastage by circulating hot water throughout your house on a continuous basis – so when you open the hot water tap, hot water is delivered instantly.
