How to Install Philmac Fittings
Looking for instructions on how to install Philmac fittings? Hills Irrigation has the answers you need, and it’s never been easier to connect your poly pipe.
Here are 6 easy steps for correct use
- Cut the pipe square.
- Before fitting, ensure the nut is fully relaxed and 2 threads are showing before inserting the
- Insert the pipe until the stop is felt.
- Tighten the nut by hand and then firmly with a wrench all the way to the flange on the body of the fitting.
- The fitting is now fully installed on the pipe.
- Disassembly is as easy as loosening the nut until 2 threads are shown and then simply pull the pipe out.
